Pick-up in Tanger, visit the medina, the Kasbah and the Caves of Hercules, then drive to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Overnight in the blue city.
Morning to explore the blue streets of Chefchaouen, then continue to Fes for overnight.
Leave Fes through the Middle Atlas and cedar forests of Ifrane, then the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Full day exploring the Erg Chebbi area: sunrise over the dunes, nomad families, Khamlia Gnawa music village and oases. Second night in the desert.
Drive to the dramatic Todra Gorge, continue through the Dades Valley, then visit the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Benhaddou for overnight.
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka and arrive in Marrakech for a guided walk through the medina and Djemaa el-Fna. Drop-off at your riad — end of tour.
