Day-by-Day Itinerary
Marrakech – Atlas – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
Cross the High Atlas, visit Aït Benhaddou and Ouarzazate's film studios and kasbah. Overnight in Ouarzazate or Skoura.
Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora – Merzouga
Drive through the Draa Valley and Zagora palm oases, continuing east to Merzouga. Camel trek into the dunes at sunset, dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Merzouga Dunes – Rissani – Todra Gorge
Sunrise over the dunes, explore Merzouga area and Rissani market, then drive to the towering Todra Gorge for a walk and overnight nearby.
Todra – Dades – Ziz Valley – Midelt
Explore the Dades Valley, then head north through the dramatic Ziz Valley and Atlas cedar forests to Midelt for dinner and overnight.
Midelt – Ifrane – Fes
Drive through Ifrane (Morocco's "little Switzerland") and the cedar forests of Azrou, arriving in Fes in the afternoon with a hotel drop-off.
