Day-by-Day Itinerary
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga – Camel Trek
Pick-up from Fes, drive through the Middle Atlas, Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, then the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Camel trek into the dunes at sunset, dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Sahara Sunrise – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at camp, then ride back and drive to the impressive Todra Gorge. Continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight in a kasbah hotel.
Dades – Ouarzazate – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech
Drive through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate, visit the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, then cross the High Atlas to Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon.
