Day-by-Day Itinerary
Casablanca – Hassan II Mosque – Rabat
Pick-up in Casablanca, visit the Hassan II Mosque, then drive to the capital Rabat to see the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.
Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
Travel to the imperial city of Meknes, visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then continue to Fes for overnight.
Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga – Camel Trek
Leave Fes through the Middle Atlas, Ifrane and Azrou cedar forests, then the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Merzouga Desert Day – Dunes, Nomads & Oases
A full day exploring the Erg Chebbi area: sunrise over the dunes, nomad families, Khamlia Gnawa music village and oases. Second night in the desert.
Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Drive to the dramatic Todra Gorge for a walk, then continue to the Dades Valley with its winding road and rock formations for overnight.
Dades – Ouarzazate – Aït Benhaddou – Marrakech
Drive through the Valley of Roses, visit Ouarzazate and the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, then cross the High Atlas to Marrakech for overnight.
Marrakech – Guided Medina Tour / Departure
