Pick-up in Casablanca, visit the Hassan II Mosque, then drive to Marrakech for a guided walk through the medina and Djemaa el-Fna square. Overnight in a riad.
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka, visit the UNESCO kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, then continue to Ouarzazate for overnight.
Drive through the Valley of Roses, Dades and the dramatic Todra Gorge to Merzouga. Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
A full day exploring the Erg Chebbi area: sunrise over the dunes, nomad families, Khamlia Gnawa music village and oases. Second night in the desert.
Leave the desert and drive north through the Ziz Valley, Midelt, the cedar forests of Azrou and Ifrane, arriving in Fes for overnight.
