Day-by-Day Itinerary
Casablanca – Hassan II Mosque – Marrakech
Pick-up in Casablanca, visit the Hassan II Mosque, then drive to Marrakech for a guided walk through the medina and Djemaa el-Fna square. Overnight in a riad.
Marrakech – Atlas – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka, visit Aït Benhaddou and continue to Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa". Overnight in Ouarzazate or Skoura.
Ouarzazate – Todra Gorge – Merzouga – Camel Trek
Drive through the dramatic Todra Gorge to Merzouga. Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, Berber dinner and music around the fire, overnight in a desert camp.
Sahara Sunrise – Merzouga – Dades Valley
Sunrise over the dunes and breakfast at camp, ride the camels back, then drive to the Dades Valley with its winding road and spectacular rock formations for overnight.
Dades – Aït Benhaddou – Atlas – Casablanca / Marrakech
Return through the Valley of Roses, with another stop at Aït Benhaddou, cross the High Atlas and drive back to Casablanca (or finish in Marrakech), arriving in the evening.
